Acquiring a dog may be the only opportunity a human ever has to choose a relative."

Well, so much for summer being on the way. Today we had "Christmas snow" at Holar, very strange given that we should be experiencing spring. Lambs are being seen on all the fields on the way to work and you can´t help but feel for them. Can´t be a nice introduction to life, cold north winds and snow flakes.
Off to Denmark in June see A off. Now just need to work out the logistics of the whole thing. We will probably fly from Akureyri and then I will come back via Reykjavik. Still, I love Köben, so should be sweet.

"[London] is sentimental and tolerant. The attitude to foreigners is like the attitude to dogs: Dogs are neither human nor British, but so long as you keep them under control, give them their exercise, feed them, pat them, you will find their wild emotions are amusing, and their characters interesting." - V S Pritchett, London Perceived Harcourt, Brace & World 62
We had a great time in London, as you can see the sun was shining the day we took the boat back from London town to Greenwich. We had walked quite a bit that day - most enjoyable.

All knowledge, the totality of all questions and all answers is contained in the dog." - Kafka

Three days since we got back from London. I think that generally a good time was had by all. Narelle outdid herself as always as host. Lots of walking was done, as was some drinking of the beer and wine. Funny though how I really really really don´t like travelling all that much anymore - it all just seems like such a hassle, much better just to stay at home.
It snowed this morning.. and there I was thinking that summer had arrived, instead it´s freezing - which is really a blessing in disguise as that means that I can veg at home on the weekend and won´t have to feel too guilty about it.
