Goooood dog!

Hubby gets the taxes done and outta here ASAP. So glad, hate thinking about it.

Can't wait to hear all about London. Overboard was asking about you... do you have her new blog?

Thanks for that. Yes, I do have the new address but haven´t linked it yet so it means I have to keep looking for the email and then checking out her blog, which takes too much time. The new job is basically all about tax accounting - something I have avoided all through my life, have generally been in cost accounting/management accounting and project management - so am going through an extremely steep learning curve, is good though - never too old to learn I am told. Still because it is other peoples taxes I feel extremely responsible - not wanting to do the wrong thing. Again, a good learning curve. The dog is a hoot. She is now lying here looking at me wistfully - and there is a blizzard outside!!!

That is quiet a responsibility. We do our own, but if hubby goes into business on his own we'll have to get help, too many loopholes.

Our low last night was in the thirtys... low thirtys. But I think it's close to 70 now. Warmed up nicely. I don't know how you handle all the snow, but you probably don't know how I handle 110 in August. We're acclimated I guess.

Well, having lived in Australia for 36 years I am pretty familiar with the high temps - I definitely prefer Icelands lower temps as the houses are all soooo warm. In Perth I didn´t have aircon so my only way of surviving 26°c nights was a dip in the pool and air drying... ah yeh.. love this planet and all its amazing variables.

26c/78F at night with a breeze is nice. That's amazing that you went from so hot a climate to so cold.

Aw, Kaya! Or however you spell her name...

Can't wait to see you! Give my love to Amma and Freyja.
And good luck with the taxes!

What? I don't have Maria's new blog... where is it?

I quite enjoy doing mine and Jason's taxes, it's nice and simple here with the e-tax application.

Enjoyed seeing happy Freyja and her toy - but also found the conversation in the background equally interesting.

Have fun in London - lucky girl getting to travel :) Lift a pint for me.
