Hanging around waiting for Christmas I decided to post a few photos from yesterdays trip up to the cemetary. It was mighty cold up there - but absolutely beautiful.

Vicki got a bit of a taste of how bitingly cold Iceland can sometimes be!
Wishing everyone a happy and peaceful Christmas.

What time of day were these pictures taken? Morning? Noonish? Evening? I'm trying to get a grasp of the whole living in the arctic darkness.
I would say about noonish? About 3pm says Sigga, after one or two glasses of wine...
Oh my gosh though, coldest I've ever been, but worth it! Merry X-mas to all!

p.s. let it be noted: I am not intentionally blocking amma's face with a bunch of piney branches. Just an unfortunate camera pose x
Fleeeeezing!
When I walked out of my house yesterday evening into 26F and 40 mph blowing snow I knew exactly what it must feel like to live in Iceland. Merry Christmas to ya'll too.
