Þvörusleikir - ladle licker

I think we all have a bit of this guy in us - who doesn´t like to lick the spoon???
The fourth was Spoon Licker; like spindle he was thin.
He felt himself in clover when the cook wasn´t in.
Then stepping up, he grappled the stirring spoon with glee,
holding it with both hands for it was slippery.

The Japanese don't lick ladles because it's too much like FUN.
I licked the bowls and ladles when we made pavlova a few months ago, and I was met with looks of disgust and horror.
I was like, 'I don't care if you think I am bad. This can be the best part about making a cake'.

I noticed that my bad influence had rubbed off on one of the kids who I know looks up to me cos I saw him LICK SOME CREAM OFF HIS FINGER during the cooking lesson last week and I was like, Holy Cow! Good on ya!

Japanese borple don't even lick stamps cos it grosses them out so I make sure to lick lick lick away in the post office so that I can say, 'It's because i love the person who I am sending the letter to so much, I want to send them some of my spit'.

Aw, good to see you're corrupting Japanese youth, um... Miss Overboard? Only know you through the comments section, but you sound like my kind of person!

I was talking to Ross recently about licking the beaters when Amma was whipping cream. Just cream. So good.

Good one Maria,
Knudsen of old. yes one must give the elfs and trolls and whathaveyous the benefit of the doubt, they may exist or they may not... it doesn´t hurt anyone to believe that they do so this way all are safe (should they exist and be pissed if cos we didn´t believe that they exist - if you get my gist). I particularly like the gnomes that have axes through their skulls... quite the bit of garden art.
